"Priest" Looks Awesome

I just watched the new trailer online for an upcoming action special effects blockbuster named Priest. The film is set in a future plagued by vampires, where a class of warrior-priests trained by what seems to be the Catholic Church defend the world from the hideous creatures. From the trailer, it looks like the movie picks up at a time when the authorities in this future world want people to think that most of the vampires are dead, when in fact they are not. This movie will likely deliver on great fights, scary monsters, and has an original story. I love it when fans of genre entertainment realize that we are not idiots or simpletons just because we love fantasy and high octane adventure films. Do I want to see dinner parties with Mr. Darcy? No. For everyone scratching their head, that was a reference to Pride and Prejudice. Do I want to see Hugh Jackman float in a plastic bubble above earth to achieve Nirvana? No. In case you're wondering, that was a reference to The Fountain. However, I could use more depth to the story than Transformers 2 (Megan Fox is still running away from the robots....and that's about it). Check out the trailer for Priest below.
