Alice in Wonderland

Just saw Alice in Wonderland with my cousin. It's an enjoyable movie, with the distinct touch of Tim Burton through out the film. The movie's decent script is enhanced by dazzling special effects, some of the best I've seen even in recent films, and the actors performances are first rate. I'd recommend it if you have some time to kill, are a fan of previous incarnations of the story, or Tim Burton. Warning to the ladies: Johnny Deep is dressed in outlandish make up as the mad hater for the entire film. While this was appropriate for the character, I think this decision was a bad one. Dep is a talented actor, but his also known for his looks, and why let down the poor paying ladies? Still, Alice in Wonderland was fun to watch.
